The Events.com Check-In app is browser-based and can be accessed with any mobile device or computer. Find and use the app here: https://events.com/onsite/c4/index.html.
Recommendations for Using the App
We recommend the following for the best experience using the app.
- Use the most current version of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox for a browser.
- Create a bookmark in your browser or add the page to your Home screen for easy access.
- On Android devices, your browser may offer the option to install the app when you select to add the page to your Home screen. We recommend this if you plan to use the app offline.
- The browser must have camera authorization in order to scan QR codes, but manual search is available without camera access.
- Set the rotation lock on your device to keep the app in Portrait mode to prevent any issues with screen format.
Log In
To log in, enter your Events.com credentials and choose your login duration. Login duration determines the length of time before the device automatically logs out of the app.
- If you choose to Share Settings, the login duration will be passed to all devices.
Set Up Event
- Answer each drop-down in order so that the next menu pre-populates.

In the Tickets menu, choose all the ticket types you wish to allow this device to check in.

On a computer browser, you will need to hold the command or control button to select multiple ticket types.

Load your event data by scrolling down and hitting the Full Refresh button.
- If you are only using one device, click Start Scanning to begin check-in.

Share Settings to Other Devices
If you have more devices to set up, you can easily share your settings.

Start by refreshing the app, which will open the camera scanner.

Refresh by dragging your finger down the screen from the top of the app on Android or iOS, or click your browser’s reload button on a computer.

Click the settings icon at the top right of the app to return to the settings screen and scroll down to the Share with QR | Share to Clipboard buttons.

Both share options will log the user into the app with all your selected settings in place.

Share with QR generates a QR code, which can be scanned by most mobile devices.
Share to Clipboard generates a URL and copies it to your device’s clipboard so you can send it to others via your preferred method (i.e. email, text, etc.)
