Manage your Events.com calendar

The Calendar Manager feature allows you to visualize, manage, and customize calendars created directly within your account, as well as calendars for which you've been given permissions by our team. Through the Calendar Manager, you can create new calendars, embed them into websites, and manage the content associated with each calendar.

To access the Calendar Manager, visit the following link: https://calendar.events.com/ Log in to your account to see all calendars associated with the account.

Dashboard Overview

The Dashboard is the main area where you can view all the calendars you've created. You can access your Dashboard here: https://calendar.events.com/user/dashboard

From the dashboard, you can:

  1. Create a new calendar. See more instructions here: How to Create Your Event Calendar
  2. Edit a calendar you've already created. See details here: How to Edit Your Event Calendar
  3. Embed a calendar directly on your website, using the following steps: Full Calendar Embedding Process

Content Manager

The Content Manager is a powerful tool for managing the content within your calendars. You can use it to filter events by date/name, reject problematic or spam content, and ensure only relevant events are visible to your users. All rejected events will be hidden from all associated calendars.

To access the Content Manager, go here: https://calendar.events.com/content-manager

Hide an Event from Calendars

If you find an event that shouldn’t be included in your calendar (e.g., duplicate events, spam), you can hide it. Here’s how:

  1. Search for the Event: In the Content Manager, use the search bar to find the event by name.
  2. Reject the Event: Once you find the event, click on the three dots next to it, and select Reject Event. This action will hide the event across all calendars it’s associated with.

What happens when you reject an event?

  • A Rejected tag will be associated with the event.
  • The event will no longer appear on any associated calendar.
  • If needed, you can approve the event again by clicking the three dots next to it and selecting Approve Event. The event will be visible again.

Hide Events from Specific Calendars

Custom Tags can be configured to hide events from specific calendars, unlike rejected events that are hidden from all calendars.

Take the following steps to hide events from specific calendars:

  1. Create a custom tag in your calendar settings.
    • Go to the Dashboard.
    • Find the Calendar and click on the three dots next to the name.
    • Select Edit.
    • In the Custom Tags field, add the tag.
    • Save Changes.

2. Assign the tag to specific events.

3. Notify the Events.com team to configure the tag as a "Rejection" tag.
