Can I create promo codes for my event to offer discounts?

With Events.com, you have full control over the creation and management of promo codes for your event. You can allow attendees to use promo codes on their Registrations/Tickets and also on Attendee Items/Other Stuff.

  1. Log In to your Events.com account and select your event.
  2. Click on PROMOTIONS, then select Promo Codes from the left-side menu.

  3. Enter your promo code details:
    • Promo Code – Name your promo code (this name will appear in your reports).
    • Discount – Choose between a flat amount ($) or a percentage (%) off the purchase price.
    • Usage Limit – Restrict how many times the code can be used (leave blank for unlimited usage).
    • Applicable To – Use the dropdown menu to select whether the discount applies to Registrations/Tickets or Purchases (Attendee Items/Other Stuff).
  4. To set the availability dates, click the Settings (gear) icon and select an optional start and end date.
  5. (Optional) Add a note to document any special circumstances related to this promo code.
  6. Click SAVE at the top or bottom of the page before navigating away.

Your promo code will be active immediately, unless scheduled for a future date.

Pro Tip: Only one promo code can be used per order. If you want a code to apply to both a Registration/Ticket and an Attendee Item, set the usage limit to 2.
